Pitigliano, ancient medieval town, perched on a tuff spur, was already inhabited in Etruscan times.

It is a precious casket that houses historic palaces and buildings, the majestic Palazzo Orsini, the ancient residence of the Orsini family, lords of Pitigliano, Sovana and Santa Fiora and the Teatro Salvini, built in 1823 by the Ravvivati ​​Philosophy Society. One of the most representative buildings of Pitigliano is certainly the Medici Aqueduct, an elegant structure for water supply, built at the behest of the Orsinis, continued in the Medici era and then restored by the Lorraines.

Pitigliano is also known as “little Jerusalem“, for its characteristic alleys, the Jewish ghetto and the Sinagogue.

The Cascate del Mulino di Saturnia (“waterfall of the mill”) of Saturnia are one of the most suggestive and fascinating areas in Tuscan Maremma. It is a site formed naturally, starting from travertine rock, dug by the waterfall of thermal sulphurous waters.

The free baths of Saturnia are famous especially for their beauty: small natural pools are constantly filled up with water coming from the other waterfall, far from noises, stress and daily caos.
